IKEA and the Star-Revue present “Celebrating Red Hook Day” Saturday July 12

IKEA and The Red Hook Star-Revue presents Celebrating Red Hook, a first annual festival celebrating our unique community.

It is a day to discover Red Hook’s artists and working people. A full day of exhibits, music and dance, not to mention a chance to eat Swedish meatballs!

The festival takes place behind the IKEA outdoor parking lot, next to the ferry terminal. Among the performers are Cora Dance, Tyquan Carter and the original Red Hook band Union. Exhibitors include Casa Furniture and Fleisher’s Grassfed and Organic Meats. There will be sampling with an opportunity to purchase. Stage sponsorship thanks to our good friends at FAIRWAY.

Admission is free! Some seating will be available.  Free table space still available for Red Hookers. Noon to 10 pm. The day ends with IKEA Fireworks!
